Deceptive Death Trap

This Townhall 18 base features a classic teaser layout designed to protect against full destruction. The Town Hall is highly exposed at the bottom (6 o'clock position) to bait attackers into a false sense of security. Meanwhile, the absolute core of the base is a heavily fortified diamond compartment protecting the Eagle Artillery, Clan Castle, and Inferno Towers. The wide placement of outer trash buildings makes funneling incredibly difficult for the attacker. Additionally, the compact internal structure leaves the outermost grassy borders wide open, naturally forcing rare and seasonal obstacles to spawn neatly on the edges.

Recommended Clan Castle (from Reddit): For optimal defense in ranked matches or Clan Wars, fill the Clan Castle with Super Dragons or a combination of Miners with Archers.

Pros:

• Anti Funneling: Spaced out exterior buildings disrupt enemy troop pathing.
• Obstacle Friendly: Compact defenses ensure seasonal obstacles grow neatly on the outer edges.
• Surprise Trap Placement: The exposed Town Hall area is heavily trapped to destroy siege machines early.

Cons:

• Easy 2 Star: The exposed Town Hall guarantees attackers an easy star if they just aim for the bottom.
• Vulnerable to Smash Attacks: If an attacker successfully creates a perfect funnel, heavy smash armies can power through the core.
